AUGUST 2010 NEWSLETTER
Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
Synod is just a month away! Please keep us in your prayers as we prepare for this important gathering. Synods are a necessary part of our work, a time when the spiritual and temporal responsibilities of faithful and committed Anglicans become manifest in very real ways. Synod gatherings within the Diocese of the Northeast are always joyous occasions and I look forward to greeting all delegates and guests. Come prepared to do the work of the church in a spirit of fellowship and Christian love.
This year, in addition to the normal business of our diocese, there will be discussions of unity between our jurisdiction and other church organizations. There will undoubtedly be historic opportunities for us all at this particular time. You will certainly want to be present for the fellowship and discussions.
IMPORTANT
Registrations are due by September 1st.
If you need registration forms, please ask your clergyman, Linnea or myself. We will get them to you immediately.
Please register ASAP. Registration fees this year are only $25.
Please make your reservations with the Radisson hotel. It is an excellent facility and should serve our needs well.
